The 11th Stop: Hokianga Harbour, Northland, New Zealand. Have a house literally on the edge - and get stunning views over the Hokianga Harbour, and on top of that - few hyperactive kids running wild inside. After three, not so relaxing days as expected, a drive down the Kauri Coast, famous for its giant kauri trees, stunning beaches and significant Maori history. And one adventurous walk into the spectacular Waipoua Forest to take a closer look at those huge ancient trees, oldest ones estimated to be between 2,500 and 3,000 years old. Just so amazing.
