Around the World - The 36th Stop, Jindalee, Western Australia, Australia
After our fabulous weeks in Fremantle, we moved to Jindalee that is a quite newly built, outer coastal suburb of Perth, about 60 minutes drive from Perth's city centre. We had chosen to stay in Jindalee just to see (and feel) the other side of the Perth and how it is to live in these newer residential areas.
As most houses in Jindalee, ours was also a big one with all the possible necessities – and off course - a barbeque, a pool and a jacuzzi in the backyard, locating just a few blocks away from the beautiful Jindalee beach, along parks and playgrounds. The beach was awesome and parks (and balloons) were a lot fun, so we did have a nice two week's stay, though must admit that we felt also a little bored after the vibrant Freo. Or maybe that was just because we knew it would be soon time to leave Australia.
We were lucky to enjoy really warm and sunny days still during these early autumn days. If counting that we spent altogether 64 days in Western Australia and had two rainy/cloudy mornings and two quick showers/small thunders during this time, one could say that the percentage for sunny days was ‘quite good’. For the family that loves sun and everything connected to outdoors, Western Australia is definitely the place to be.
